Please welcome Emily Quinn to the blog! She's here to talk about her super sexy new release.
Angel Jones is a career-driven woman at the top of her game with a big
problem: a wickedly handsome boss. It is impossible to get him out of her mind,
so her friends talk her into using someone else’s invitation to an exclusive
dating service. It’s a dare she can’t resist.
Fernando Durante knows lusting after someone at work is not an option.
He has managed to avoid direct contact with her for years, but thanks to a
recent promotion, the witty goddess reports directly to him. When a friend
emails him an invitation to an exclusive dating service, Fernando accepts
against his better judgment.
Will Angel and Fernando let their hearts guide them?

Steam
rose as hot water covered his body from head to toe, and Fernando’s thoughts
wandered back to her. He needed to
get Angel Jones out of his head. Lusting after someone at work wasn’t an
option, though his dick begged to differ. Angel’s name alone gave him a hard-on
every time. He wrapped a hand around his cock and stroked his length. She’d
lived in his dreams for the past three years.
It
had been a long while since he last dated or bedded anyone. Truth be told, ever
since he’d crossed paths with Angel, she’d remained present in his mind. He
placed a hand on the shower glass for support, his other hand stroking his cock
faster. Whenever he closed his eyes, her stormy, ice blue eyes, black cherry
hair, and her voluptuous, baby pink lips came to mind.
It
had been easier when she didn’t report directly to him, but thanks to his
boss’s latest organizational restructuring, she did now. Being in the same room
with her was pure torture. The way she narrowed her eyes at him when she didn’t
agree with something, or how she bit her lip when a new idea came to mind, did
him in every time. It took all of his will power not to walk up to her, pull
her into his arms, and have his way with her. No matter how much he wanted to
do that, he wouldn’t. Sexual harassment litigation wasn’t part of his career
goals.
Regardless,
he couldn’t ignore the attraction much longer. Fernando wanted to feel her soft
body against his, her legs wrapped around his waist, and her muscles clenching
every time he drove into her tight, slick channel. He’d make her take all of
his length until she shuddered and surrendered to him. With a growl, he let his
own orgasm take him.

Emily stopped by and answered a few of my quirky questions for visiting authors.
Do you have any advice for aspiring writers? Is
there anything you wish someone had told you?
I’d
say never give up. Rejections can be hard to take but you can only learn from
them. Always remember there’s the one editor you haven’t gotten to that will
like your voice and the rest will be history.

How do you choose your character names? Do you
ever change their names mid-process?
I search baby
names and their meanings all the time. I want to make sure the name goes with
what and who I want the character to be. And yes. I’ve changed my characters
names either mid-process or at the end. There’s been the one thing that didn’t
click and once I’ve changed the name everything just glues.
If you could learn to prepare (cook, bake, etc.)
any dish as well as the restaurant that makes it best, what would it be?
I love Ruth Chris. If there was a way I could learn how
they season and cook their steaks, I’d be very happy. Oh, and their sweet
potato casserole? OMG! Now, that’s another dish I’d love to learn how to make.
When writing, do you share chapters with friends
or beta readers as you go or do you keep your projects secret until they are
complete?
I do share chapters with a friend who
acts as my beta. She sometimes comes back with things such as: “OMG I love
this,” or “All right, this isn’t working.” I’ve deleted/re-written entire
chapters based on her invaluable feedback.
Do you have any special talents? (Singing,
dancing, juggling, gardening, etc.)
My special
talent would be being a success at failing at all these things. I can’t sing
for the life of me. Dance? Hmm, perhaps I can move a little but I wouldn’t call
it dancing. And gardening? I’m so good at forgetting I must water the plants.
LOL
What is your go-to cocktail?
Strawberry Mojitos. I.Love.Them.
